RAP students participate in IGERTs' meeting
15 RAP students participated in a three-day meeting of IGERT programs, held in Juneau Alaska and hosted by the UAF Mesas IGERT. The meeting's theme was the role of traditional ecological knowledge in studies on global change, and the event provided an excellent opportunity for RAP students to explore that topic as well as learn from and get to know IGERT students engaged in PhD studies at other universities. RAP students organized and delivered a special session on the topic of community partnerships in research, which catalyzed thinking on this topic among students.
