Trainees develop business proposal
Our IGERT program includes a technology commercialization course. This year this course was linked with the sensor testbed course that investigated formaldehyde sensors. The students working as a team developed a business proposal for a new formaldehyde sensor technology and presented it to the campus innovations center. The IGERT team won third place in the campus wide Foster Center for Student Innovation's 2011 Commercialization Potential Award.
